A Marine veteran and mom to two girls, Coach Rina began her CrossFit journey in 2017, shortly after giving birth to her second daughter mostly to lose weight and seek social interaction—bonus that the box she joined also offered childcare.

After witnessing first-hand what CrossFit can do for people both in and outside the gym, Rina quickly developed a passion for this sport. She pursued her Level 1 Certification in 2018 and what started as a personal passion became a vision for helping others. She enjoys the process of helping her athletes acquire the discipline, confidence, patience, focus, and strength needed to grow and develop.

Not only did her experiences within the first few years of coaching lead her to love the methodology of CrossFit, but she also found great value in expanding her scope of practice which most recently led her to achieve her Level 2 Certification alongside becoming a certified Nutrition Coach.

Since stepping into the role of a CrossFit coach and personal trainer, Rina has helped hundreds of individuals from coast to coast including professional athletes, military service members, teenagers, and active masters (seniors) athletes. She specializes in educating her clients about nutrition and helps them create personalized nutrition plans. She constantly shows her athletes how to properly fuel their bodies in order to achieve their health and fitness goals, which also completes the larger puzzle and ultimate goal of helping them feel and perform better.

Rina’s hobbies include trying to keep houseplants alive, traveling to watch her husband and daughters compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and listening to true crime podcasts.
